“I cannot begin to explain the difference Amanda has made in our lives and his. She approaches each child with amazing insight into what they need as an individual and connects with them in a way that they look forward to working with her. She was the missing piece to what felt like an impossible puzzle.”

"Amanda has been working with my son since he was in pre-k (now in 4th). She has helped him grow into a social butterfly who enjoys spending time with his friends and family. She has helped him achieve many goals that were once far from obtainable. She is a wonderful therapist, we feel very blessed to have her working with our son."

— Ana, Braiden’s Mom (Age 9)

"When Amanda first started working with my son, he was barely functioning in the classroom and was struggling at home as well. He was anxious, over-stimulated, and unable to follow directions and participate in a group. Fast forward to today and he is not only functioning, he is thriving. His teachers say he is a completely different kid. I cannot begin to explain the difference Amanda has made in our lives and his. She approaches each child with amazing insight into what they need as an individual and connects with them in a way that they look forward to working with her. She was the missing piece to what felt like an impossible puzzle."

"Amanda Perches worked with my son for just over 4 years. The patience and attention to detail she demonstrated was impressive. Her ability to connect with my son was so comforting to me as his mom. Parenting resources were readily available and she was always willing to help me
work with him at home. Amanda taught me the skills he needed so I could implement the same strategies in between sessions. I was so impressed with the results that I now recommend her to my students."

"Amanda Perches isn't just an OT. She has changed our son's life. When he was 5 years old, in Pre-K, he was reluctant to write, and when prompted to draw, would merely scribble on a paper and throw it. With her help, only a year later, he writes most letters with ease, and can be found in his free time at school "writing the room" and considers art as a favorite subject. Fabrics and crowds would send him into sensory overload, leading to frequent meltdowns. Making friends was not easy, and in fact, not a priority. With Amanda's help, he can better cope with sensory stimuli, and has more social strategies to navigate school. Often, parents of children with special needs question where to turn, and don't know where to start. For our family, Amanda has been a blessing in helping us to help our son, and the future is so bright for him, largely thanks to her."
