Amanda Perches, Occupational Therapist

Amanda is an occupational therapist who has been treating children for nearly 20 years. She specializes in coaching children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, behavior disorders, developmental coordination disorders, and in becoming the best and most independent version of themselves.  She appreciates the opportunity to nurture children one-on-one, or in a group setting with her popular social-motor groups. This allows children to PLAY with their friends as they address social skills, fine and gross motor coordination, balance and core strengthening, handwriting, and self-regulation through exercise and mindfulness.

Nurturing children is both her calling and purpose in life, which feels like a blessing to her as an occupation. The greatest reward is seeing a child meet his or her goal and sharing in the pride the entire family experiences. It is an honor for her to be a part of these children’s lifelong journeys!

She believes in disconnecting from the screens to reconnect with family, while engaging in FUN-ctional play to develop age-appropriate motor and self-regulation skills.  ACTIVE play builds the foundation for self-esteem, social skills, self-regulation, and achievement of independence.

Amanda resides outside of Houston with her three children, and loves spending time with them exploring the great outdoors.  Being “MOM” is her most favorite role.
