ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Amanda Perches, an occupational therapist who has been treating children for close to 20 years.  I specialize in coaching children with autism, ADHD, behavior disorders, developmental coordination disorders, etc in becoming the best and most independent version of themselves.  I appreciate the opportunity to nurture children one-on-one, or in a group setting with my popular Social-Motor groups, which allow children to PLAY with their friends as they address social skills, fine and gross motor coordination, balance and core strengthening, handwriting, and self-regulation through exercise and mindfulness.

my purpose

I believe nurturing children is my calling and purpose in life, and feels beyond blessed to call this her job.  The greatest reward is seeing a child meet his or her goal and sharing in the pride the child and family experience. It is an honor to be a part of these children’s lifelong journeys!

Amanda resides outside Houston with her three children, and loves spending time with them exploring the great outdoors! Being "Mom" is my most favorite role.

I believe in disconnecting from the screens to reconnect with family, while engaging in FUNctional play to develop age-appropriate motor and self-regulation skills.  ACTIVE play builds the foundation for self-esteem, social skills, self-regulation, and achievement of independence.
